  • Birchwood Café (Minneapolis, USA): Birchwood Café’s community program Birchwood BOOST raised over $70,000 for local non-profit community organizations focusing on major issues such as climate change, racial equity and social justice.

  • Bistrotheque (London, UK): Wadeson Street eatery Bistrotheque works with charity Magic Breakfast, which seeks to end hunger as a barrier to education by providing healthy breakfasts to vulnerable school children.

  • ámaZ (Lima, Peru): ámaZ founded non-profit organization Despensa Amazonica in 2017, which works with rural communities to improve their quality of life, promote Peruvian ingredients and cuisine on a global scale, and preserve the local ecosystem.

  • Almond Bar (Sydney, Australia): The staff at Almond Bar volunteer in a community kitchen for asylum seekers and refugees, and assist in finding employment in hospitality for newly-arrived migrants.

  • The Barbary (London, UK): For one month of the year, The Barbary asked diners to add £1 to their bill to go towards Street Smart, a charity which provides funding for organisations offering vital support for homeless people.

  • Chai Pani (Georgia, USA): Chai Pani promotes and highlights a local cause by hosting a special monthly dinner called ‘Giveback Night’, where a percentage of sales is donated to the chosen cause.
