Josimar Melo is a food and wine journalist and restaurant critic for the major Brazilian newspaper Folha de S.Paulo. He is also a columnist for the magazines Prazeres da MESA (Brazil), Monocle (UK), and Apicius (Spain), and every year he publishes Guia Josimar, a gastronomic guide of Sao Paulo, first launched in 1992.
