Katrina Power has worked in PR for book publishing, awards and arts for twenty-seven years; fifteen of these in New Zealand, beginning her career with Random House, before becoming Publicity Manager for Reed Publishing. She has managed campaigns for and travelled with authors including Sir David Attenborough, Michael Palin, Bill Bryson, Sir Ranulph Fiennes and Gordon Ramsay. She is also the author of Favourite New Zealand Jokes About Australians (Penguin), which has been continuously in print since 1992.
