Tara Stevens

Tara Stevens is a food writer and home cook who splits her time between Barcelona, Spain, and the Fez medina, Morocco. She writes for Condé Nast Traveler, Fool magazine, and The Telegraph*, among others. She founded Chefs in Residence at Resto 7 in Fez in 2015, a project which invited chefs from all over the world to come to live and cook in the Fez medina with the goal of exploring how the rich heritage of Moroccan cuisine could evolve into its next chapter, while using only products sourced from within the medina or nearby farms, to employ disadvantaged young people from the neighbourhood and to innovate by creating dishes that celebrated a new, modern Moroccan cuisine.
