“Here at Rockfish, we aim to change the way people eat seafood in the UK. Fish and shellfish caught and landed daily right outside our doors is served in our restaurants by the sea, and we work with local fisherman, brewers, and producers to buy in the best produce to create our menus. Our menus include classic fresh fried sustainable fish and unlimited chips, plus tacos, fritto misto, fresh local crab salads, and more. Thirsty passers-by can fill up their water bottles with our outdoor taps, too.”

Signature Dishes

Local Brixham scallops in the half shell with garlic and breadcrumbs; grilled MSC hake served with unlimited fresh cut chips, asparagus, peas, and mint; and crispy fish taco: crisp-fried MSC cod with guacamole, red onion, fresh lime, chilli, yoghurt, and mint coriander, in a grilled flour tortilla.

What we say

You could walk into any branch of Rockfish and think it was just a normal seafood restaurant or takeaway – albeit a clean, well-designed, well-staffed one with an incredibly diverse menu. All the work that the visionary Mitch Tonks has put in – here and throughout his life – to marine sustainability is worn incredibly lightly. Order seafood cooked to your preference and read up about what is being done here to champion the well-being and bounty of the seas. This is probably the best seafood group in the world.
