Yeo Valley Canteen

What they say

“We are fanatical about supporting local and British farmers and sourcing local and organic produce. We use our own organic meat, which is all raised on the farm. Yeo Valley Dairy support the local community by purchasing vegetables, salad, cheese, and fruit from within six miles of our kitchen. We really are seasonal and have our suppliers to thank for that. We are running our own race and hope to take people along with us on that journey by talking about what we do and why we do it at every opportunity.”

Signature Dishes

Community farm leek and wild garlic tart with Strode Valley organic salad; Holt Farm’s devilled lambs’ kidneys on our house-made toasted sourdough; and Yeo Valley vanilla ice cream baked Alaska.

What we say

It is an honour and a privilege to be welcomed into what was once the Yeo Valley staff canteen as a paying member of the public. For so many years Yeo Valley has a been a beacon of organic hope in a grisly world of exploitative farming. The sight of their logo in the dairy aisle of an otherwise hopeless supermarket, offering the chance of proper milk in your tea, butter on your toast, and yoghurt for your breakfast was always one to warm your heart. We knew they had to be eating something good. And it turns out they were.

What others say

“The best staff canteen in the world.”
