“We’re ALL about our organic spelt, which is grown, harvested, and milled less than thirty minutes away at our sister company Sharpham Park. As well as having a strong spelt focus, the Pantry is focused on showcasing the best seasonal, local, and organic produce that Somerset and the South West has to offer. We work closely with local organic beef and dairy farmers, bakeries, and patisseries.
We support Bowel Cancer UK and are involved in our local community group Sustainable Shepton, as well as offering the opportunity for local residents to volunteer in our gardens and organic veg patch. Sharpham Pantry is situated in a regenerated Victorian textile mill complex featuring RHS accredited gardens.”

We first met Roger Saul on a tour of Highgrove with the Soil Association fifteen years ago, when he was planting his first fields of spelt. He explained to us what spelt was, how it related to the wider wheat picture, and what it could do in terms of health and nutrition. A few years on, Roger is the undisputed King of Spelt, we (and millions of others) are converts, and the world has a chance of being just a little bit slimmer, healthier, and happier.
