“Baba Ghanoush is a vegan/vegetarian restaurant serving falafel and other recipes from the East. The food is of high nutritional value as it is made of fresh vegetables and daily ingredients. The owners’ philosophy is: ‘We only serve food that we would serve to our kids’, emphasizing the quality of dishes. The restaurant is small and does not take reservations.”

Serving falafel in Athens has been a trend over the last couple of years. Baba Ghanoush stands out for the food quality, portion sizes, and excellent service. Even when using ingredients in their dishes that Greece doesn’t produce, the owners minimize the environmental impact by recycling oil and limiting plastic packaging. They are also socially active, donating food to the local community and often feeding people in need.
