“Bkerzay is an eco-friendly, zero-waste conservation project which aims to preserve the natural beauty of the region. We are passionate about the environment, nature, people, architecture, pottery, authenticity, arts, and all kinds of simple beauty. Our guest homes were sculpted into the natural landscape, without removing a single tree and built with traditional stone architecture and vintage furniture. We are proud users of solar energy, and have set up an elaborate purification station so that we can recycle our water. We also grow and use our own honey, thyme, and olives and under the management of Chef Hussein Hadid, our restaurant offers delicious Lebanese food with a twist using the best local products to ensure a traditional yet original culinary experience.”

Located in the heart of the Chouf mountains, Bkerzay is the perfect place to reconnect with nature and take a break from urban life. Bkerzay has also revived local pottery tradition by establishing a pottery atelier which was the founding stone of the project and has carved an economy for local talent. The project has also preserved about 170,000 square metres of greenery, making it a landmark that celebrates the natural beauty of Lebanon in all its splendour. This is a place for relaxing weekend getaways where one can enjoy delicious Lebanese food and a heavy dose of nature. Don’t leave without trying the hamam!
