Saloniki Greek Restaurant

What they say

“We started Saloniki so that everyone could taste the flavors of Greece in a fun, energetic atmosphere. We want to source the best possible ingredients and, staying solely in the Greek flavor profile, cook the best possible food we can. We are proud of the care and attention with which we treat our food, starting with sourcing locally through vendors and purveyors we know and trust, so that we can offer the highest quality food in a very casual setting. We also strive to empower people in our community by offering a career path without extensive prior experience.”

Signature Dishes

“The Herc”: braised honey-garlic Maine pork shoulder with spicy whipped feta, secret sauce, greens, tomato, onion, Greek fries, spicy slaw, and fresh herbs on a just-made pita; zucchini feta fritters; baked-to-order pita.

What we say

Jody Adams – who has long garnered national star status in the fine dining arena – co-launched Saloniki Greek as a platform to express the bold, bright flavors of Greece at an accessible price point, and to much applause. The James Beard Award-winner brings a health-conscious mindset to Greek street food with a menu of brown rice bowls and salads that are customizable with proteins like spicy lamb meatballs or honey-braised pork shoulder. Best of all, there’s no extra sugar or oil added. Do stay for dessert, though – sweets include fried-to-order loukoumades, Greek yogurt with jammy toppings, and, of course, house-made Greek cookies.
