Whole rough-dressed local cracked crab with aïoli and crusty bread; sizzling garlic and chilli prawns; and local mussels with miso, coriander, and lime.

There is nothing better than yaffing down piping hot platefuls of Devon’s best seafood while staring out at the sea it swam in or the beach it crawled up. Sizzling hot prawns in garlic butter, cracked crabs as big as the car you drove here in with pungent garlic aïoli, and great haunches of white fish, charred to perfection. All washed down with rivers of rosé and the company, if you’re lucky, of local girl Tamara Costin, who owns this place and is its heartbeat.
