“Cafe Murano champions quality, integrity, and authenticity. We love to work directly with farmers, fishermen, and growers to source the best produce perfectly in season. By cutting out the middleman, our chefs get to learn firsthand when seasonal produce is ready to put on our menus. A great example is Greg from Forge Farms, who will directly liaise with us every year about when our signature dish of pumpkin tortelli will feature on our menus. The wine list at Cafe Murano focuses on 100 per cent Italian small producers who grow organically and biodynamically. Our restaurants use water filter systems with recyclable bottles rather than purchasing bottled mineral water. We believe in treating our staff, guests, and suppliers with equal respect!”

The brilliance, warmth, generosity, and pure fun-loving spirit of Angela Hartnett is woven into the very DNA of these two wonderful cafés. She calls them cafés but the level of attention to detail, the skill in the cooking, the beauty of the presentation, and the professionalism of the staff bespeak far higher things – but without all the tosspottery of fine dining. Cafe Murano is Truth, Love & Clean Cutlery to the max!
"I don’t want to review my spinach and ricotta tortelli as much as compose a hymn to it." –Andy Lynes, Metro
