“At Foxlow we are most devoted to our food, the experience, and our people. We take great pride in ensuring that all our teams are happy and enjoy their job. Our passion for sustainable produce sourced from British suppliers is evident in our dishes and we strive to maintain that relaxed, informal atmosphere that makes our customers as comfortable as possible. We work very closely with the charity Magic Breakfast, who run breakfast clubs in schools where a majority of the pupils arrive at school too hungry to learn.”
Spice-roasted cauliflower, chickpeas, wilted spinach, and curried aubergine sauce; chicken burger and fries with fried chicken breast and Kewpie mayonnaise; and rare-breed spare ribs, slow-cooked with green slaw.
This is a small friendly chain from the guys who founded the altogether more ball-breaking Hawksmoor outfit. There is a good balance between healthy and heftier dishes, generally terrific beer, wine, and cocktails, light and airy design, and a nice, family-oriented, high-street vibe to set off some really top-class modern brasserie standards.
“We left Foxlow in a rosy glow – it’s hats-in-the-air good.”
