As a team, we are passionate about not only serving delicious and nutritious food and creating a great atmosphere for our diners, but also using education and information to create conversations on wellness, conscious eating, responsible food-growing practice, biodynamic farming, and sustainability. We chose the name Farmacy as it incorporates our belief that food is medicine (to paraphrase Hippocrates), as well as emphasizing our obsession with the provenance of food and organic farming.”

It is not just plastic straws that are eschewed at Farmacy; they try to avoid using any plastics at all. By using suppliers such as Vegware to source plant-based packaging alternatives, they have been able to ensure that all of their packaging is not only 100 per cent recyclable, but in many cases compostable, too.
