“Ethos is dedicated to serving delicious and creative meat-free cuisine that appeals to a large number of people. Our menu is rich with options for those with special dietary requirements such as vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and refined-sugar-free. We focus on four basics: amazing food, exceeding expectations, investing in our team, and no wastage.”
Veggie scotch egg filled with smoked aubergine; good green salad with chickpeas, green beans, sugar snaps.
Oh, just feel the health in here as you take in the Nordic blue and white of the colour scheme, the sexy shafts of silver birch, and the way in which, having loaded up with healthy vegetarian goodies from the dishes arranged sexily on white podiums, you are invited to pay for your food by weight – a practice common in Spain and Latin America but less familiar in Teutonic climes. How could you not take that little bit less food when the world is going to see the scales yodelling out “THREE KILOS!” as you hoist your giant platter aboard? After the ravages wreaked upon us in terms both of our own health and egregious food waste by years of all-you-can-eat buffets, this is a welcome corrective. And the food is good, healthy, and pretty cheap.
