“I prioritize people and the environment within my work and believe in a world with a fair global food system, where our actions benefit other people and nature. All my work is focused on protecting biodiversity and promoting equality through raising awareness about the issues affecting our food system, while empowering people and businesses to act responsibly through my consultancy, collaborations, food writing, presenting, and events. We source our ingredients following Slow Food’s mantra that ‘food should be good, clean, and fair for everyone'. We believe organic and biodynamic farming is the future and buy from community farms wherever we can.”

The “root to fruit” sustainability philosophy defines Tom’s Feast’s holistic approach to food – encompassing all aspects of a sustainable food system including people, the planet, and, importantly, the pleasure created through their cooking. They have a strong focus on vegetables and look to serve meat and fish that has had a positive impact on the environment. The food is nutritional, seasonal, vegetable-centric, and made with whole foods and nonprocessed ingredients. Go, Tom!
